Endurance is the easiest to cut and install, and it is the most commonly used material for OEM bunk carpets. Featuring 16 ounces of low water retention and U.V. Stabilized fiber, Endurance Trailer Bunk Carpet can be used for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.

To make a bunk, follow these instructions:

1. Unbolt and remove the existing bunk boards from the trailer. Take off the old bunk carpet and sand away any glue or debris before applying the new carpet. Examine the old bunk boards for damage and replace them if necessary.

2. Measure the size of your boat bunks to determine the amount of bunk carpet you will need.

3. Stapling the new bunk carpeting is highly recommended, as it will help preserve the carpet.

4. Before carpeting the trailer bunks, insert the bolts used to secure the bunks into the pre-drilled holes on the bunk board.

5. Unroll and lay out the new carpet (which you have already cut to size) with the rubber backing facing up. Place the bunk board evenly along the edge of the laid-out carpet, leaving enough carpet on either end to completely wrap each end of the bunk. Hold the carpet to the board and start to roll the new carpet onto the bunk board. Staple down the first side, then roll the board until it is completely covered. Finally, use a staple gun to apply staples every 2 to 3 inches along the bottom of the bunk board to ensure a secure and snug fit. If measured correctly, there should be about 2 inches of excess carpet left to overlap the initial bottom side, and you should staple down this excess carpet on top of the existing carpet.

6. Flip the newly wrapped bunk board over, and use the excess carpet you have already accounted for at either end to wrap and secure the bottom side of the bunk, using glue or staples.
